| The purpose of a Sathya Sai Baba Center is to foster the spiritual activities of its members. The Center is a focal point for individuals to learn and practice Sathya Sai Baba's teachings and message of Love and to lead disciplined, spiritual lives alongside their personal religion. Members of the Tampabay Sai Center meet every Sunday to study and discuss the teachings of Shri Sathya Sai Baba and to engage in group devotional singing, meditation and prayer. The Center provides community service such as free medical and dental clinics and dedicates time to provide service to other community organizations. There is also a value-based spiritual education for children (6 yrs to 16 yrs). There is never any solicitation or fee charged for any function that a center conducts. All are welcome, regardless of race, creed, economic status, or religious orientation. Sathya Sai Baba says: "There is only one Religion, the Religion of Love; There is only one Caste, the Caste of Humanity; There is only one Language, the Language of the Heart; There is only One God, and He is Omnipresent." | |||||||
